I very much enjoyed the series. I've read the books multiple times, so yes I will honestly say I'm bummed they didn't fully follow the book but the differences made it more enjoyable. Allie and Dean are my number one couple so it was good to see their romance brewing. Tucker not being a redheaded southern texas gentleman was a bummer but the actor played him well. I look forward to the next season.

What do we learn from this? As a women, a nerd is the real deal, as a man: Sexy sports guys are it after all, forget about alle the others. 🤓 That´s maybe the not so modern aspect of this series, reverse the roles ("only sexy bunnies are cool girlfriends") and you have a scandal.

Besides this, this series is excellent. Good roles and acting, good setting, engaging, non-predictive story, good music, no Disney-Paradise but dealing with real problems. Well done!

Off Campus is a well-crafted and entertaining film with strong performances, engaging storytelling, and relatable characters. Finally saw a good romance series after years. Was hoping some high school drama, but it was way better. Like the episode of orgasm of how he was respecting her, and a clear boundary between them, which lack in india.

Also loved not only objectifying women's body but also men in second last episode. A lil hyped but worth.

Always the poor girl OR poor guy who needs a "super hot" frog & toad story. Been watching this story since Molly Ringwald & Andrew McCarthy in "Pretty in Pink."

Always entertaining story with good looking actors; always nice seeing the slight twists they put in the story. Glad they went the direction of Heated Rivalry and used Hockey as the sport, sad that they made the girl the one who's worried about not being able to pay for College/University (first world problems? I guess?)

It has been a while since I read the book that the first season was based on, so I don't know exactly how closely it followed the book, but it certainly captured the feeling. I love the way this portrayed the fun and camaraderie of the college experience. It is also doing well at setting up for the other books, with John Logan pining after Hannah, with Dean being such a "player", and sometimes showing interest in Allie, and sometimes butting heads with her.

Overall, it was worth the watch. I love the hot athletes, the romance tropes and the fact that the main characters become friends before jumping into bed together. Garrett and Hannah are shown as down to earth people with issues, feelings and backgrounds that have left their mark.

Did not expect anything from a trailer besides cringe, and I am happy to admit I was wrong. The conversations strangely are deap and believable.

Loved the main couple, and basically everyone else (course, to start liking Logan there will need to be some serious somersaults from the show runners in the second season, but oh well).

That said, the story remains very conventional and predictable, without many surprises. Still, from time to time, a show like this is exactly what you need. It's easy to watch, entertaining, and brings a welcome dose of positivity.

Ella Bright is equally spectacular as Hannah Wells, providing a fierce, high quality independence and sharp wit that makes her the ultimate match for Garrett. Their screen chemistry is electric and immediate, transforming a transactional arrangement into a deeply moving and memorable partnership that forms the beating heart of the show.

The supporting cast is exceptionally strong, bringing a vibrant and chaotic energy to the Briar University campus. Mika Abdalla shines as Allie Hayes, portraying her journey of self discovery with a beautiful, unpolished grace, while her evolving dynamic with Stephen Kalyn's charmingly complex Dean Di Laurentis provides a high quality and thrilling secondary narrative. Jalen Thomas Brooks as Tucker and Antonio Cipriano as Logan add excellent flavor, capturing the genuine camaraderie, locker room friction, and unpolished humor of a real team.

I have read the book and le me just say this series is not as same as the books but the funny thing is I understand why they changed it... For the ppl who haven't read the book this will be a perfect show. They did kind a ruin Dean and Allie imo. But Garret and Hannah's story is enjoyable. Beautiful.

Talk about good romance and edge of your seat drama!!! I haven't experienced this type of grade A sh** since the early 2000s. I thought the dramatic, nail biting, vomit inducing show one hates to love, was dead. Turns out, NOPE. This one had me in all my feelings 🦋 It was so fkn great! I cannot wait until the second season. I read the books years ago and i already knew this was gonna be corny as well but GODDDD DO I STILL LOVE IT i had literally such a blast watching this even with the things i remember that they didn't add.

I wasn't convinced with garrett's casting but HONESTLY? He did so good and he sold tf outta that role. Dean and allie? Absolute perfection i enjoyed every single moment they were on my screen they have sm chemistry it's actually wild. Logan...hit my line.

It was so fun this is what we all needed TV IS SO BACKKKKKK. Pls start filming s2 TOMORROW.

This one was actually really good. I will admit having read the book - i didn't expect much. But I was surprised. There were changes yes - but I think they worked very well and I actually think I prefer the show to the book. The book was very teenager to me, and I think the show did a better job at not making it cringe. I also really liked all the characters and their stories. And the chemistry between all the main couples! Wow. It's been a long time since I've seen a show without accidentally looking at my phone at the same time - it was not a problem here.

If you're thinking about watching - do it.

Yes there were definitely things that were different and the book is always better but I honestly was excited about it and the chemistry of the characters is great! I liked it! I really did! Don't get me wrong some things bothered me. The deal is one of my all time favorite books, but I think what helped was going into the show telling myself it will be different.

I loved this series of books. When I first started watching, almost as soon as it came out, I was disappointed that it was so different than the book. I ended up watching all of it and loved it. It's based on the Off Campus series. Very different, still very good. Put the book out of your mind and just enjoy. I liked it a lot and will definitely watch it again.

Fun story with good actors. Heartfelt with romance, friendship and family. Enjoyable and easy to watch in one day. Easy to connect with the characters and feel the story dynamics. Easy to like the main characters. In a time where hockey is popular, this story brings a little bit of everything out there.

After Heated Rivalry got me hooked, another hockey series came back to the market that is based on the Off Campus book series.

The series is about the first book - The Deal, combined with the third book - The Score.

At first, I had a hard time connecting with the age of the characters, they didn't feel like college kids to me, but rather older, and the gap between the boy and the girl was large, but as the series went on, I learned to love them.

I didn't remember much from the book, so I was quite surprised by the series, especially since they changed quite a lot of the plot.

I think it's a fun and light series and the song selection is excellent and I took a few new songs to the playlist.

I recommend the books more, but the series itself is also good.

Recently, a series has become very popular, and one of the reasons it feels refreshing is its portrayal of healthy, meaningful masculinity, along with a similarly thoughtful representation of femininity. It truly feels like a break from casual, commercial films, though that topic could honestly lead to a completely different discussion. The series, Off Campus, is written by a woman, and the male protagonist has earned a lot of appreciation. I have my own interpretation of that praise. Many women admire the male lead by saying he feels like a man written by a woman, and in this case, that is true. Still, I think that generalization is a little limiting when it is used to celebrate every kind, respectful man. The protagonist, Garrett, is generous, kind, and deeply respectful toward his partner, Hannah, especially after learning about her past trauma and how the violence she experienced as a teenager changed the course of her life. He values consent and consciously tries not to become like his father, which stands in sharp contrast to the harmful example he grew up with. That is why Garrett feels like an ideal man. My point, though, is this... does a man who is respectful and kind to women have to be described as a concept created by women? In this specific instance, the character clearly is the product of a female writer, to the best of my knowledge, but I am thinking more broadly. Men should be respectful to women by default, rather than having that behavior viewed as something so rare it is treated like a fictional fantasy. When basic decency and emotional intelligence are framed as exceptional, it can let real-life men off the hook and turn ordinary human respect into an unrealistic trope instead of a standard to live by. Of course, it is also true that many, genuinely many, men lack emotional empathy and intelligence. I can feel that reality, and my argument is not meant to cover up that fact. This is not a criticism of the series itself, just an observation. It was a good break from stagnant Western films. I loved it.
